Weare VKIIRUHRBEZIRK
The Association of Cameroonian Engineers and Computer Scientists (VKII) is the world's premier technical contact for the Cameroonian Diaspora. The association has distinguished itself for more than fifteen years by developing technologically based solutions to developmental problems in Cameroon as well as abroad. The Association of Cameroonian Computer Scientists and Engineers was founded in 2000 by Cameroonian students in Frankfurt. It is the world's first technical contact for the Cameroonian diaspora. For more than fifteen years, the association has distinguished itself by developing technologically based solutions to development problems in Cameroon as well as abroad. Besides numerous projects, VKII e.V. as a non-profit and non-political association promotes excellence within the global African society through regular highly interesting activities such as its mentoring program, its symposium or its various seminars. The umbrella association continues to pursue these goals to this day.
In addition, due to a strong increase in membership, various complementary district associations were formed in 2014 - including the VKII Ruhrbezirk e.V. As an independent association, the VKII Ruhrbezirk is a member of the VKII umbrella association. We also joined the Verbund der sozial-kulturellen Migrantenvereine in Dortmund (VMDO e.V.) in 2016. The board of the association is formed by Armel Djiné as chairman, Anicet Ngonthe as secretary and Alvine Tatepo as treasurer.
